Dara Curran

Dara is a senior developer on the CMX Analytics team, part of the Connected Mobility Experiences (CMX) platform. CMX provides the ability to generate analytics based on wifi signals received from devices to extract meaningful patterns and gain visitor movement insights. His goal is to unlock the patterns hidden in location data to help customers understand how to transform visitor information into business intelligence.

Prior to Cisco, Dara joined ThinkSmart Technologies shortly after its foundation and developed the machine learning algorithms employed to produce insightful and novel represenations of location data. ThinkSmart Technologies was acquired by Cisco Systems in 2012.

His interests include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Multi-Agent Systems. He enjoys playing piano and drinking red wine, often at the same time.
